This story takes place in a Naval Base is Hawaii: Pearl Harbor. It startes on Decemeber 7th, 1941 in the early hours of the morning.

At 8am, Japanese fighter planes made their way to descend upon Pearl Harbor, not just for a visit. 

The Japanese made their attack and destroyed 20 American Naval vessels. There were 8 battleships and 300 airplanes. 

Over 2,400 Americans died on the warm December day and over 1,000 more were injured. 

On December 8th, 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt asked Congress to declare war on Japan. 

The United States would now go on and fight for almost 4 years to defeat Japan, Germany, and Italy: The Axis Powers. 

We will never forget the lives lost that day. We will always remember the day the United States of America was changed forever.
