To my dear husband and to my dear sons

I was sitting in the porch of my house on a nice sunny spring day. I was reading the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I was really enjoying the story. Suddenly, I heard a sound of something moving in the garden. I raised my head, searched around me, I looked to the right, I looked to the left, I looked in front of me, I looked behind me, but saw nothing.

I returned to my book. Again I heard the sound coming from the garden. I started to look around me, I looked to the right, I looked to the left, I looked in front of me, I looked behind me, but again I saw nothing. Suddenly, I felt that something was close to me. Startled, I stood up quickly and the book fell on the floor.

Looking behind me, shocked, I saw a very small brown bear. He was staring at me. I was afraid at first but looking at him, I found that he was so adorable and cute.
Come here little cub. You are so cute. Where is your mom?

First of all, I will call you Fluffy. Then I will go and get you some milk, you look hungry. Wait for me here.
The cub looked at me scared. I held him tightly and took him to my room.

Fluffy was hungry and drank all his milk. I was so happy to have Fluffy as a pet. I took Fluffy to meet my parents.

Mom, Dad, this is Fluffy, my new pet.
Bears cannot be pets my dear Ella. Bears have to live in the wild, they can't live in houses.

But he is so cute. I want him to stay with me Daddy, please.

We are so sorry Ella. You can only keep him tonight, but tomorrow morning you shall go and look for his mom.

I left my dad and mom with tears in my eyes. I really wanted to keep Fluffy with me.
That night I slept next to Fluffy. I felt so warm and safe with him.
Morning came quickly. I gave Fluffy some milk to drink. I had breakfast with my mom and dad.

We left home very early in the morning. We walked to the forest. We looked between the trees, short and tall, between bushes, shrubs, mosses and grass. We saw insects, birds, reptiles, racoons, foxes, squirrels, rabbits and deer. We did not find the mother bear.

We left the forest, went through the desert. We saw camels, snakes, scorpions, lizards, tortoises, foxes, coyotes and meerkats. We did
not find the mother bear.
