Weekly Journal Entry # 1
This week was a hell of a roller coaster ride due to the barrage of school works. I felt restless these past few days. Even in my sleep, the horrors of the responsibilities were still haunting me. Honestly, I have thoughts about giving up. However, I remembered the song of my favorite band, which goes as follows, "balikan kung bakit ba nagsimula, bago mo sabihin an ayaw mo na". If someone asked me what I shall do next, I would say that I will push through. There`s too much at stake for me to give up. I hope to maintain this kind of optimism.

Every night, I always pray that may God prevent me from doubt, fear, or worry, and instead, grant me enlightenment and strengthening. This kept me going for as long as I can remember. I expected that the coming weeks would be tougher than the other. However, all I know is that the Almighty repeatedly guided me through victory, and I know that He will continue to do so. The challenges may be excruciating, but it is not impossible to overcome as long as I continue to do it in our father's name.
This week feels like we are preparing for war. A war that we can't afford to be defeated. But I was afraid that I don't have what it takes to win. However, as I evaluated the benefit of our work for the greater good, it gives me a better reason to give my all. I also realized that I`' m not alone in this fight; I have my God, family, and my friends in this war. This is more than enough reason to win, to emerge victoriously.
Weekly Journal Entry # 4
Since I was a kid, I`m fascinated with soldiers. They look cool and thought, which makes me also dreamed of being a soldier. So now what happened? As you can see, I`m writing this journal instead of training to be a soldier. But don`t get me wrong, I love where I am right now. But what is the point of talking about an unfulfilled dream, as you might think? Well few years back, I saw a documentary about the training of the Philippines Scout Rangeres. The documentary explained how this brave soldiers are shaped to be an elite force.
