Aelitta’s teacher, Mrs. Johnson , assigned the class a project. The assignment was to create a self portrait  and then present it to the class by the end of the week, telling everyone why you are unique.

Everyone was given a piece of paper, paint, colored pencils and markers, then started working immediately. Aelitta didn’t. She didn’t know what made her unique.

Aelitta spent all day wondering what made her special.

She wondered at her bus stop...

She wondered in her room...

She even wondered in her dinning room.

She wondered until she heard a small noise coming from her closet.

When she opened the closet door, two stuffed animals walked out.

"AHH" they all screamed. 

"Bunny and Bear?" Aelitta asked.

"That's us!" Bunny responded. 

Aelitta was very confused, but decided to talk to them. "You're my old stuffed animals."

"Yes we are!" Bear agreed, "I remember when you put us away in your closet because you think you're 'too old' for us."

"I remember that as well, but I also remember when you helped your neighbor plant flowers." Bunny added.

"Or the time she gave he balloon to the kid who accidentally let go of theirs and lost it." Bear said, "you are such a special kid."

Suddenly, Aelitta woke up. It was all a dream. She tried to remember what had happened but then she realized, she knows what to do for her school project. Aelitta rushed to her backpack to begin.
