In a magical forest, hidden from the rest of the world, Fern and Rose the fairies were celebrating a very special occasion; they were getting married!

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," said the priest. "You may kiss the-!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

 All the fairies at the wedding screamed, and they tried to find somewhere to hide as a giant bird swooped to attack them!

Rose was frozen in fear. Fern saw the bird charging towards her, but she wasn't moving. The bird was getting closer. He had to do something!

He flew faster than ever to get to her, and quickly pushed her out of the way, but...

"Fern!" cried Rose as she watched in horror at the sight before her. There was poor Fern dangling helplessly in the bird's claws as it headed off towards its nest.

Rose was determined to find and rescue her husband. Every time she thought about him, she almost cried. She just had to get him back, so she left her mushroom house to go on a journey into the magical forest.

After almost three days of searching, Rose was starting to get really tired, and her wings were aching terribly.

"Fern couldn't be too far away, could he?" She was so exhausted, Rose found a soft tuft of grass next to a tree and quickly fell asleep.

"CAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW!"

Rose jolted awake. She remembered that she fell asleep next to a tree, but... why was she in the air? She looked up...

"Eeeeeeeek!" She squealed. She was being carried by a bird!
