What is "Media Literacy"?

Media literacy is the ability to identify different types of media and understand the messages they're sending. The messages can be sent by commercials, billboards, slogans or anything else you see during daily life. 

Press can affect a person's perception of the world so it is very important to not misunderstanding the messages given.
