This book contains the games we prepared in Math 2.0 project. Most of the games are prepared by using web 2.0 tools. All games were played by our students. Our aim in the games coincides with the purpose of our project.  We tried to make mathematics fun and understandable with games.

 KAHOOT

       Fraction games

               Kahoot is a game-based learning platform, used as educational technology in schools and other educational institutions. Its learning games, "kahoots", are user-generated multiple-choice quizzes that can be accessed via a web browser or the Kahoot app.

             Kahoot can be used to review students' knowledge, for formative assessment or as a break from traditional classroom activities. Kahoot also includes trivia quizzes.

          Our aim in designing this game is to make students understand and reinforce the subject of fractions better and have fun while doing it.

        Percents

             The software is a flashcard application which allows users to prepare for various types of subject matter using flashcards and multiple choice tests. By entering the question and answer of the test in Cram, the application presents the information in test or flashcard format, which then allows the user to study the entered information at any time.

           In our Cram game, it is aimed to reinforce the subject of percentages in a fun way with matching cards. 

         The cards were carefully prepared according to the grade levels and the link was sent to the students. Students can enter the game directly with the link sent.

In this game students should try to convert percentages, decimals and fractions each other in the fastest way and match the cards correctly.

         Wordwall can be used to create both interactive and printable activities. Most of our templates are available in both an interactive and a printable version.

LEARNING APPS

                Fraction detectives

    LearningApps.org is a website that gives the teachers an opportunity to create their own simple applications. The teachers can create more than 20 types of apps, for example, memory game, word search, hangman or crossword. After they register they can create classes for the students and monitor their progress. The app can be used as a part of the lesson, it can involves the whole class or individual students (it depends on the classroom equipment) or the teacher can ask the learners to do it as a homework

        The fractions written on the cards have lost the equivalent fractions that were their partners. Only a detective as good as you can help them. Can you hep find all the equivalent fractions by clicking on the cards. When you open the correct card, the equivalent fractions meet and disappear from the screen.
