There was a man named Barack Obama who wanted to help and change the U.S for the better.

Barack Obama became the president in 2009 to 2017.He ended up working in this place called the president's palace or what we know it as the white house.

In January 29, 2019 he decided to make a decision that was known as "signing of the first bill".This meant that both men and women were now almost or exactly paid the same.

This helped so we can bring equality and to bring many  more opportunities for both men and women.

On February 17, 2009 Barack Obama made an act called "American recovery and reinvestment act".

This act helped many people that needed jobs.Such as the people that were really low with money and the people that couldn't afford many things.
