“Mom what’s for dinner?” Billy asked.

”Billy we are having Chicken, broccoli and mashed potatoes." Billy’s mom said.

”I don’t want that! I want ice cream! Ice cream is better!” Billy yelled.

“Dad, can we have ice cream for dinner?” Billy asked. “No” his dad said. “Why not? Chicken is nasty, broccoli is nasty, and mashed potatoes are nasty to. ”Billy said. “Ice cream is a dessert, it’s not for dinner.” His dad said.

“Time for dinner.” Billy’s mom said. ”No no no I will not eat this nasty food. I want ice cream.” Billy kept yelling “This is nasty, I won't eat this” Billy cried for a long time because he wanted ice cream for dinner.

Billy’s mom walked towards him with a plate in her hand. It was divided into four sections.

“See this plate, Billy, this is what you need to eat every meal in order to be a healthy, strong little boy.” Bill’s mom said to him.

Billy kept saying, “No no no”. Billy’s mom started explaining to him what was on the plate, “This plate shows you how much fruits, vegetables, grains and proteins you need to eat for every meal”.
