Rosie and her bear, Teddy, had the most wonderful connection.  She depended on it and made it her best friend.

Rosie's older brother, Aaron, had wanted a Teddy of his own and seeing her hold the bear so dearly planted jealousy in his heart.

With his jealousy growing deeper, Aaron one night got out of bed to steal the bear away for himself.

Rosie was heartbroken when she awoke to discover her bear missing.  She cried to her parents for comfort but found no reprieve.
