Live Love Church-Stevens 11th Period Biology Class

Oaklee latched on to his mother as they ventured out of their old jungle. Oaklee and his mom are orangutans. They used to live in the part of the forest that was taken over by poachers. Poachers are very dangerous and could hurt them. Oaklee and his mother are now moving to a new part of the rainforest!

Yes dear, all jungles have ants. You'll get to try so many new things there!
Mommy, will the new jungle have those yummy ants?

Oaklee was very sad he had to move to a new school. He thought he wasn't going to make any friends. He didn't like anything about his new jungle. It didn't even have his favorite tree bark!

On the first day of school, Oaklee's mom introduced him to Adriana. She is an anteater. Just like Oaklee, they both eat ants.

On the way to school, Oaklee and Adriana talked the whole way. Oaklee even learned that Adriana's tongue is 2 feet long!
Welcome new school year!
lesson OF THE DAY:

Oaklee found himself to become nervous again. Even though he had met Adriana, he still felt alone and not welcomed.

Good Morning class, my name is Miss E. Welcome to second grade!
On the board, you will always see the weather and temperature even though it almost always the same every day! Today we are going to be talking about our selfs a tad then all about plants!

Oaklee was excited about the lesson. He was looking forward to learning about his classmates.

When he went to sit down, he started talking to Julia Jaguar and Kallie the tree kangaroo. As it turns out, Kallie and Oaklee are very similar. They even eat the same bugs!

Today we are going to go around the room and say our favorite food, our height, and something cool about where we live.

I'll go first. My name is Adriana. I'm an ant eater, I like to eat ants. I'm short compared to all of you. My family and I live inside a tree that's 100 feet tall!
