Genesis

Upon the start of this new school season

We were grouped as one by our class leader

We're not that close yet when the year opened

We never knew, something great's in our path

At first, we called ourselves as the Team Chill

As we're to face an ardous learning scheme --

With moderation while doing our best

Consideration has become our mark

Chapter II

Solidarity in Tribulation

We faced challenges from our professors

We're challenged more by this thorny new scheme

Still, we put our best in every course

And we have faith in each one in our team

Yet, seems like our approach ain't going great

We were attacked by fire, we're melting down

But what's one thing a fire cannot defeat?

So hand in hand, we fought this fire with fire

Tip: The easiest route is teamwork

Chapter III

The Greatest Battle

It's the defining moment of our craft

We studied day and night, often as one

We tell ourselves, we shan't be worrisome

We should be proud, it's our team's great brainchild

The day of our greatest battle has come

'Twas nerve-wracking, my hands' both cold and warm

But we're relieved as at noon it ended

We've had our thesis triumphantly defended

Chapter IV

Six Hours

Four days after our victorious defense

We came along to celebrate as one

We dauntlessly left the many tasks on-hand

To chill, to bond, and in one frame we stand

I'm a guy who is very asocial

But I value my friends, like these great guys

I'm very lucky with this team I have

They have a special place in my dear heart

Reflection:

On May 12, 2021, I and my friends get together to celebrate our successful thesis defense. I value my friends, and I love to bond with them. I like creating memories with them, even sometimes in the midst of adversities. I just feel that our bond is getting stronger that way. Nevertheless, I secure that our health and tasks are safe and are not compromised.
