If there's an hour, a day, moment in time

That I would never want to revisit

I guess, it would be our group's great battle

Our very cringy two-hour team defense

We thank the panel for commendations

But I don't want to hear them ask once more

And revisit the way our team answered

What I feel when I remember?...

It's finally time for the acad break

But we ain't really going on vacay

We will be publishing our dear research

It's time to make a journal article

But I don't have notes on panels' comments,

Suggestions on improving our paper

I watched the recording of our defense 

What I feel while I watch, you ask?...

And later on, the rest of Fire Nation

Joined in this great "cringe party" that I host

We coiled in remorse while we watch ourselves

Awkwardly perform in our team's defense

And yet, rewatching was very helpful

We took down notes on how we can improve

Our paper before it gets on the move

But what we feel while watching? Well...

Reflection

I always need notes to go get moving. I always need guidance on what to do. Unfortunately, I was not able to take down notes the panelists' questions during our defense that's why I need to rewatch our defense to take note of them. My teammates do have notes but it's not that complete. Rewatching it was really cringy, yet, I know that doing this will be for the benefit of our group. I value our group and I value our performance. So I guess, it's worth the cringe.
