On a hot day detective Kam was chilling.  Then his boss said "you're on the case of the fake detective." What is the Case of the Fake Detective?  I heard from another company that there's a fake detective on the loose. Where? asked Kam. In our building. WHAT! said Kam. So I need you on the case, said Kam's boss.

But today is my day off said Kam, and I cannot do this by myself.  Don't worry said his boss, Jake will help you.  Can Jake just do it by himself? said Kam.

But it is my day off

NO said his boss, who was getting mad.  Fine, said Kam I will do it.  Wait can one of the other detectives do it? No said his boss.  Why not? asked Kam.  Because they are all suspects.  Awe man said Kam to himself as he followed his boss to the suspect room.

In the suspect room Kam and Jake were left alone in a dark room with one light and the five suspects.  First they spoke to detective Spencer.  The first thing they asked was where he was at 11:30 am.

Detective Spencer said he was on his lunch break. Hmmm said Kam, and wrote it down. You can go sit down said Jake.  Next! said Kam. Detective Katie was next.  They asked her the same question.  She said that she was at AZZIP because she was off and she likes AZZIP a lot! Jake said hmmm, and wrote it down.  

Kam said next.  Next was Teddy.  They asked Teddy where she was.  Teddy said she was on a case.  What kind of case? asked Kam.  WHO STOLE THE MONEY said Teddy.  Hmmm said Kam, and wrote it down.  Next, said Jake.  Next was Bo.  They asked him where he was. He told them that he was at the beach.  Why? asked Jake. I was on vacation said Bo.

Interesting said Jake, and wrote it down.  Now said Kam, I have something to ask you.  What said Jake?  Where were you?  Jake said we are partners so you cannot investigate me. I can investigate you said Kam, unless you are trying to hide something.

The room was quiet. Jake spoke.  I was at Spencer's house.  No you were not at my house said Spencer. Yes I was said Jake.  I was spying on you for practice. Well, I have security cameras everywhere said Spencer. Oh said Jake. 

I was at Spencer's house.

No you were not at my house.

Kam said "Jake is there something you would like to tell us?"  No! said Jake.  Fine said Kam.  If you will not tell the truth we will stay here the whole night or more.  Jake laughed. The door is not locked and the door lock is on our side.  Well said Kam I will block the door.
