Hello everyone, my name is Drippy! I am a tiny little droplet of water.
Do you know what a droplet is?

That's right! A droplet is a tiny little bit of water.

And you know what? The seas, oceans, rivers and lakes of the world are made of billions upon billions of little droplets like me. We're like a big family!

You can find us everywhere, even inside your body! We're so many and so important that sometimes people call our planet, "the blue planet".

And we have superpowers too! We can transform from liquid to gas and solid. Can you think of a solid form of water?

Exactly! Ice is solid water, just like water vapour is gaseous water. When it's really hot, water EVAPORATES. It means that we go up in the sky to form clouds in a process called EVAPORATION.
When it gets really cold, water becomes ice, and water vapour in the clouds turns back into droplets or snow, or hail. We call that process CONDENSATION.
What is hail you say? This is hail, falling balls of ice.

As we said, when it's cold, water transforms into hail, snow, and rain in a process called CONDENSATION. When water condensates, it becomes heavier and it falls down from the clouds, we call that PRECIPITATION.

And finally, when we fall back to the surface, we gather together in lakes, rivers and underground water. It's like a family reunion! We call that COLLECTION.

So, COLLECTION, EVAPORATION, CONDENSATION and PRECIPITATION, make up what we call the WATER CYCLE! Isn't that amazing?

Alright then, ready to test your knowledge of the Water Cycle?
We've just learned quite a bit, haven't we? I am sure you can talk about the Water Cycle like a pro by now.
So, how do you call the process in which water turns into vapour?

Remember when I told you that when it's really hot droplets like me can transform into water vapour, and that we go up in the sky to form clouds?
