CRISTIANO RONALDO
Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, commonly known as Cristiano Ronaldo, was born on 5th February 1985 in Funchal, Madeira. He is the youngest child of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro.
At the age of eight, Ronaldo started playing for the amateur team Andorinha. Two years later, he joined the local club, Nacional da Madeira. Then, in 1997 Ronaldo moved away from his home island of Madeira to play for Sporting CP.
Ronaldo’s skills soon attracted European big teams. So when he was eighteen, he signed for Manchester United, an English professional football club.
Nowadays Ronaldo is a superstar. These are some of his awards: the European Golden Shoe for being the best goal scorer (2007 – 2008) and the FIFA World Player of the Year (2008 and 2013) because he was considered the best footballer in the world.
Bruno Fernandes
Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes, born on 8 September 1994 in Maia, Porto, is a Portuguese professional footballer. He plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester United and the Portugal national team.
He comes from a middle-class family background. He has got an older brother, Ricardo. He dropped out of school before finishing the 11th grade because of football.
He started his career at Italian Serie B side Novara but soon made a move to Serie A side Udinese in 2013, followed by Sampdoria three years later. After five years in Italy, he signed with Sporting CP in 2017, where he was named club captain. He won back-to-back the Portuguese League Cup in 2018 and 2019, as well as the Portuguese Cup, leading to him being named Premiere League Player of the Year in both seasons. In 2018–19, he scored a record of 33 goals in all competitions, making him the highest-scoring Portuguese midfielder.
Rúben Dias
Rúben Santos Gato Alves Dias , commonly known as Rúben Dias, was born 14 May 1997 in Amadora, Portugal. He has one older brother.
At the age of nine, Rúben Dias started playing for the amateur team Estrela da Amadora. Two years later, he joined the professional team Benfica.
Dias represented the Under-17 at the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Two years later, he captained the Under-19 squad at the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. The following year he captained the Under-20 side at the 2017 Under-20 World Cup. On 5 September 2017, he made his debut for the Under-21s in a 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification match against Wales.

Rui Patrício
Rui Pedro dos Santos Patrício was born in Regueira de Pontes, Leiria, on 15th February 1988. He is left-handed. His parents are Rui Patrício and Beliza Patrício. He has a sister - Nídia Santos.
He is a Portuguese goalkeeper. He currently plays for Wolverhampton and is part of the Portuguese team. Until 2018 ,before moving to Wolverhampton, he had spent his entire career at Sporting CP: he made his debut at the age of 18 and played over 464 official matches for the “Lions” (Sporting CP), being the second player in the history of the club wearing the team’s shirt in more official games.
He made his debut for the Portuguese national team in 2010, where he has been a starter ever since. He represented Portugal at the 2012 Euro Cup 2012, the 2014 World Cup, the 2016 Euro Cup, the 2017 Confederations Cup, the 2018 World Cup and the 2018 –19 League of Nations.
