Once upon a time, two young and friendly animals lived on a great, big island in the middle of the ocean. One is a shy koala bear named Jules and the other is her closest friend, Mr. Monk the Monkey.

“We must leave this island!” exclaimed Jules. “Koalas and monkeys cannot swim, Jules,” said Mr. Monk. “This island is running out of food. When it finally does, the hungry beast will come for us,” replied Jules.

Jules and Mr. Monk continued to question what they should do. Then, they started to hear several soft whistles and humming. “I can help you,” said a mysterious voice.

A parrot then emerged from the trees. “Who are you?” asked Mr. Monk. “My name is Asher and I think I can help you,” replied the parrot. “You have wings. You can fly as far from the beast as you want. How could you possibly help us?” asked Jules. “Well, I am very old and my wings can’t fly like they used to,” said Asher.

“Come with me. I want you to meet someone,” said Asher as he begun to slowly fly away from the tree. Jules and Mr. Monk then followed Asher the Parrot to the beach. Asher landed on a big rock on the beach and let out a loud screech. A crab emerged from the water.
“Hello there. My name is Pinch," said the crab as he waved his claw. “Pinch, these are new friends of mine,” replied Asher. “Well, any friend of yours is a friend of mine” said Pinch.

“Asher, why did you bring us here?” asked Mr. Monk. “Are you guys looking for the island too?” Pinch asked. “Yes, they want to escape the beast," replied Asher. “Well, I’ve been searching for Paradise Island for a long time now," said Pinch.

Jules and Mr. Monk’s eyes lit up with hope. “Paradise Island? That sounds amazing!” exclaimed Jules. “Now we can find it together,” said Asher. Bushes and plants begun to shake as leaves and twigs on the ground started to rattle. In the distance, the animals heard a mighty rawr. “The beast! RUN!” exclaimed Mr. Monk.
