Thank you for letting me choose books that you liked to read with you, like Pokémon, soccer, and trucks. We've worked on fiction vs non-fiction, parts of a story, narration, and possessive nouns. We also learned how to use the Zoom Whiteboard to create sentences and draw what we learned.

My favorite part of this summer was reading the Pokémon books and looking at the different Pokémon that are in the game.

I am excited to see how you do in 2nd grade, even if I do not get to see you. You should still try to find more books (like maybe Sonic and Luca) that you can keep reading over the rest of the summer.

Try to keep reading every word of the sentence and don't forget to ask for help if you don't know a word! Sounding out words is the best help.

Try and use this website "Storyjumper" to create books one day! I made some Pokémon books, and it was very easy.
