Preparing for 

Election Day

Nikki wants to make an informed decision on Election Day, so she starts researching each candidate. Nikki goes to the Democratic Party's website to learn about their party platform, then does the same for the Republican Party. Lastly, Nikki researches the Third Party Candidates.

How to prepare for voting day: 

-read or watch the news on elections

-attend political rallies

-listen to candidates speak about their platforms

-know your values and what you desire in a candidate

  Voting on

Election Day

The day has arrived! Nikki has done some great research, and she's ready to make her vote official in the General Election. Nikki travels to the designated poll site where she received an official ballot. Nikki fills out the ballot with her vote, then turns it into the box. Voting is complete.
