There once was a dog by the name Willimina. 

Hi! My name is Willimina!

Willimina liked to sing, just like her mother. Her mom was an opera singer and Willimina wanted to be one too. 

The problem was that she didn't believe she should, and neither did the others around her. 

Her brother Alex believed that dogs couldn't sing opera, and her sister blossom thought that it was weird for dogs to sing. 

Listen Willers, dogs can't sing opera.

Yeah... and even if we could, that would be weird.

Willimina was feeling quite discouraged. She knew she had talent, but she didn't feel that anyone would appreciate it. She knew how to sing staccato, she knew how to crescendo and decrescendo, she even knew how to sing all of the dynamic levels, but still she thought her talent was useless because she was only a dog.

Willimina's mom noticed how sad she looked, so she started to sing to her in hopes that it would cheer her up. Her singing did just that. Willimina began to sing along with her mom.

Willimina's mom thought that Willimina's soprano voice, with the perfectly controlled vibrato, was absolutely beautiful and thought it would be a great idea to let her sing with her at her next performance.

Willimina was so excited. She finally got to share her talent with others! She realized how silly it was that she almost let her passion for singing be swept away by others' opinions.
