Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman dynasty, died before he could conquer Bursa, and according to his will, he was buried in the Osman Gazi Tomb in Tophane, where he is buried today. When Orhan Gazi, the son of Osman Gazi, who conquered Bursa in 1326, passed away, he was buried next to his father Osman Gazi in this area close to the social complex he had built.Emir Sultan Mosque, which is an important symbol of Islamic architecture and heritage in Bursa, was built by Hundi Fatma Hatun, the daughter of Yıldırım Bayezid, upon the death of her husband Emir Sultan.

Sultanate Gate It is the most important and magnificent of the main gates of Bursa city .Tophane Square , where Bursa was founded in history, also hosted the Bursa Palace until the 1855 earthquake. From Tophane Square, which has the most beautiful viewing terraces in Bursa, you can watch the Bursa Plain or the Uludağ view and the Inns Area with a coffee.

The Roman Catholic Church in Teiuș is a historical monument. It was built in the 15th century

Alba is the spiritual capital city of the Romanians. It is located in the southwestern area of Transylvania, on the banks of the Mureș River

In the Alba Carolina citadel there is a statue of Mihai Viteazul riding a horse. He was the first ruler of Romania.

Hello everyone!

My name is Maria Oprea and I am an  English and German teacher at "Mihai Eminescu" Highschool from Calarasi.

Calarasi has a rich history. It is located in the south east of Romania, on the bank of the river Danube, on the border with Bulgaria. The nearest town to ours is Silistra, a town in Bulgaria.

This is the Danube. We have a big park that runs along it, and this is how it looks in winter.

We have also a nice beach, where we have fun in summer. This is how it looks in summer.

There are a lot to visit in Romania. The first picture is of our capital, Bucharest, with The House of the People, one of the largest buildings in the world. The second picture is the Peles Castle, built during the monarchy period.

 The Sea of Marmara, also known as the Sea of Marmora or the Marmara Sea, is a small inland sea located entirely within the borders of Turkey. Thi See is in Bursa. 

Gölyazı is an ancient settlement in Türkiye’s Bursa that can serve as a wonderful autumn escape. The small peninsula located on Lake Uluabat, connected to the mainland by a thin bridge in the Nilüfer district.

The earliest known human settlement near Bursa's current location was at Ilıpınar Höyüğü around 5200 BC. It was followed by the ancient Greek city of Cius, which Philip V of Macedon granted to Prusias .Bursa was the capital city of Ottomman Empire.
