Our Planet Earth has 3 types of  Rocks:

Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic.

This book will talk about 

Igneous Rocks.

Igneous rock is magmatic rock.  

Igneous rocks were the first rocks on planet earth. 

Igneous rocks are made from molten rock, also called Lava, which comes from active Volcanoes. 

Lava is liquid because of extreme heat in volcanoes. 

Granite is big, strong, hard and tough. it is used in construction.

Obsidian is volcanic glass. it forms when lava cools quickly.

Basalt is a very hard stone that forms from quick cooling of lava that has a lot of iron.

pumice is light colored volcanic rock. it is rough and has a lot of holes. 

Some uses of Igneous Rocks: 

Granite for walls AND FLOORS.      

Some uses of Igneous Rocks:

ObsIdiaN: JEWELRY & TOOLS. 

Some uses of Igneous Rocks:

BASALT: TraiN TRACKS & PAVEMENT.

Some uses of Igneous RockS:

Pumice: scrub skin (cleaning).

I can't imagine planet earth without igneous rocks.

igneous rocks have many uses like walls, floors, jewelry, etc.
