Today is a big day for 5 year old Ava. Today she starts Kindergarten. She is nervous and a little scared, because she does not know if she'll make friends with the children in her class.

She gets up in the morning and starts to get ready for her big day.

She brushes her teeth then heads to her room, picks out her clothes and her mother helps her get dressed.

Ava is able to feed herself. She eats her breakfast and leaves out of the door with her mom.

They pull up to the parking lot of Ava's new school and get out of the car. Ava holds her mother's hand as they walk into the busy school building. 

Ava's teacher, Ms. Amy greets her with a smile and invites her into the classroom. Ava tells her mother goodbye and follows Ms. Amy.

Ava watches as the other children play and goes over to the carpet to join them. She tells them that her name is Ava. Her classmates Evan, Josh and Riley smile and introduce themselves. 

The children play, color with crayons and listen to a story. 

For lunch the class is eating pizza, sliced apples and milk. Ava is excited because she loves pizza. She eats all her food and drinks her milk.
