Ethical Responsibilities to Children 

Educators are responsible for providing care and education in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment and are responsible for creating programs and lessons that meet the developmental needs of all children. 

Ethical Responsibilities for Families 

Families are essential when it comes to early childhood, they are the first and most important influence in a child's life. When families are involved this helps build a positive and trusting relationship between them and educators, ensuring better outcomes in the child's overall development.

Ethical Responsibilities to Colleagues 

As educators the primary responsibility is to treat each other with respect. Establish and maintain relationships of trust, confidentiality, collaboration and cooperation with others to maintain a positive and responsive environment. 

Ethical Responsibilities to Community & Society

As educators we have a responsibility to provide programs and resources available for families and assist families with those resources throughout the community.
