An honest person never lies, he never breaks promises, he never talks bad about a person, they never overvalue someone. these are some special qualities behind an honest or a sincere person. I would like to present a story at your service.

A poor woodcutter was felling a tree on the bank of a river. by chance, his axe fell into it and he began to shed his tears. Mercury, a kind god, happened to pass that way he asked him what the matter was when he learned the whole story, he took pity on the poor man.

He jumped into the river, he showed him the golden axe. " is it yours?" he asked "no sir" replied the wood cuter; "mine was not so beautiful". He dived again and bought out a silver axe. "is it yours?" he asked again.

"no sir " replied the honest man ."mine was not so bright" he dived for the third time and brought out an iron axe which was lost. "OH! yes that is mine". exclaimed the wood-cutter, as soon as he saw it.

Mercury was greatly pleased with the woodcutter. And gave him all the three axes as a reward for his honesty.
