Britain limits colonists to only settling east of
the Appalachian Mountains. Britain was trying
to appease the Indians after the war. Colonists
were mad and they thought they should be
allowed to settle in the Ohio River Valley. They
continued to move west.








In April, 1764,New taxes were put on sugar,
molasses, etc. it hurt jobs and economy. It
made colonists very mad.








In march, 1765, Britain forced colonists to
house and provide for British soldiers in return
the soldiers will protect the colonist housing it.








In March, 1765, Britain places a tax a
tax on most printed materials, so the
colonists boycotted British goods.










In June, 1767, Britain put
indirect or "hidden" taxes on
imports. The colonists didn't
believe it and tried to avoid
taxes.


The British think we can't see
the taxes...


In March 1770, Colonists taunted British
soldiers and threw snowballs at them.
The colonists got shot.
