                                    Introduction 

Have you ever heard about a story of the Unknown Celebrity? Is it true? Or is it just a rumor? It might be a fake story...or is it? 

Characters: 

Natalia - has brown wavy hair and brown eyes. 

Caleb - has brown spiky hair and brown eyes.

Brooklyn - has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

                                    Chapter 1

                    How She Became a Celebrity 

   It all started when a fourteen year old girl wanted to be perfect. Her name was Natalia Ann Russo. She shopped as hard as she could in her price range, tried to meet any Celebrities she could, but she thought it wasn't enough. She had everything -almost- to look like a celebrity. But no one knew about her except her family and friends. So, she decided to make people know about her. Making people know is a whole different thing than people getting to know so some of that and some of that and it was her own magic. Yet, it only had a limit of months until it wears off and no one knew her. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

   So, it all started on one Spring afternoon in California. The sun set above the breezing leaves on top of a mountain where the house stands. Natalia was looking out her window at the cars driving by. She breathed a deep sigh. She took her phone out of her pocket. Just a second after she turned it on, it turned off. 

"Ugh! I haven't used it all day and it has to charge?" Natalia said. 

Just then, her mom walked in. She told Natalia to go downstairs and eat lunch. She dragged herself all the way downstairs and saw what was in the bowl. 

"Thank you, I LOVE Burritos and white rice on the side!" Natalia said to her mom.

Her mom usually cooks potatoes with green beans everyday but she was busy to cook so she made two quick burritos for Natalia and her 8-year-old brother, Caleb. She took a big bite of her burrito and beans were all over her chin and cheeks. Caleb looked at Natalia. He started to chuckle. 

"Your make-up is ruined! You look like a clown!" Caleb laughed. 

Natalia ran to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. She had a frown look on her face. She grabbed a wash cloth under the sink and cleaned her face. She went back to her room and tried to redo her make-up. 

"Natalia, are you done eating? You didn't eat much.' Her mom said, putting on her coat. 

"Yes, I'm done eating. I'm sorry, Brooklyn is coming. She needs me to watch her dog, Teddy, while she is at the Theater." Natalia said, walking to the stairs. 

"Okay, but don't forget to watch your brother. I have to go to a meeting." Her mom said, going to the garage. 

"Okay, mom." Natalia said, putting her bowl in the fridge. She went back upstairs.

Three hours went by. Finally, the door rang. Natalia went downstairs to answer it. It was Brooklyn and a few other girls. 

"Hey Natalia. Listen, I was going to the movie theater with my friends. You can come, too, if you want. I just wanted you to watch my dog so I can hang out with my friends." Brooklyn said.

"Wait. Were you planning to go without me?" Natalia said, frustrated. 

"Um, yeah. Well, we gotta head over there now. You coming?" Brooklyn said, looking at a girl named Rebecca. 

"No!" Natalia said, slamming the door. 

She turned around. Caleb stared at her. Natalia rolled her eyes and ran to her room. She grabbed the charger from her desk drawer and plugged it into her phone. As soon as she turned it on, her phone rang. She answered.

"Hey Natalia. Are you gonna watch my dog or what?" The phone spoke.

"Absolutely not!" Natalia said, hanging up. Caleb appeared by her door. He had a letter in his hand. She snatched it. She read the message aloud.

Hello Natalia Russo,

This is the Unfortunate Fame. We are here to dedicate the life of youth. We spotted you with this normal and dreadful friendless life you have. We can help you become famous!  If you choose to, wear your best outfit and bring your own talent here tomorrow at 5 p.m and we will award you everything you can ask for. By that I mean being a famous and popular person around the world!

Natalia jumped up and down. She ran downstairs to wait for her dad to open the door. Once he came inside, Natalia jumped up and down some more and handed him the letter. He read it and crumpled it up. He had an angry look on his face. Then it got covered by his tired look. He was going to speak but he was too tired. Natalia went to her room instead.

Natalia was reading a book when her dad walked in. He finally told her what he was going to say two hours ago.

"Your mom will be back soon." Her dad said. "Once she arrives, she will give you a punishment. I already know what it is so I am just going to tell you. You cannot come out of your room until you explain yourself. You cannot just trust an unknown company to make you famous for no reason. You have to know they are the people you read about."

Then, he left, dragging himself to the couch. 30 minutes went by with Natalia waiting patiently. Her mom appeared at her door.

"So what's the punishment?" Natalia asked.  

"What? Who said anything about a punishment? Your dad." Mom said. "Oh my gosh. Well, I only give you punishments when you are doing something bad or arguing. But you did not know. Did you?" 

They had the rest of the afternoon eating dinner and playing a family board game before bed. As usual, they ate tacos and burritos for dinner.  Then, they played board games and went to bed. Natalia was kept awake all night thinking about all the people who will also become famous and if her talent is good enough to become famous. 

The sun rose above the mountains. Birds were chirping and the wind was whistling. Natalia woke up and got ready for her big day although it would be happening later that day. She slipped into her ripped jeans, black T-shirt , and denim jacket. She left her hair down and did her make-up. 

"Natalia. Ready to do your Geometry test?" Her mom said.

"Yeah sure. I'll be down in a minute." Natalia said, applying lip gloss. 

Natalia did not go to public school. She has been home-schooled most of her life. As she went downstairs, the doorbell rang. She went to answer it.

A man with black sunglasses and a black suit stood on her porch. 

"Are you Natalia Ann Russo?" The man said, in a deep voice. 

"Yes, I am Natalia Ann Russo. Who are you and what are you here for?" Natalia said.

"I am the owner of Unfortunate Fame. I am here to greet you to your new life. Would you like your parents to come?" The man said, pointing to the vehicle. It was a black long limo. It was shiny that you can see your face out of it.

"I'm not expecting you to arrive until 5 p.m. I also wasn't expecting you to be at my house." Natalia said, taking another peek at the limo. 

"I know. I decided to come sooner. I don't have the patience to wait until 5 p.m. Are you ready?" The man said. 

"Of course! I'll go get my parents and my little brother. Stay here." Natalia said.

"Mom! The man to greet me to Unfortunate Fame is here! Come look at-" Natalia said, delightfully.
