It’s finally Christmas season again. 

Everybody is on shopping sprees to get  gifts for their families and Christmas decorations for their houses. 

So, it was the perfect moment to also start. I bought presents for my family and close friends that I would give them on Christmas Eve, except one of my dearest friends, Marios.

Marios was an anti-Christmas spirit. He hated Christmas with a passion. He didn’t believe in the magic of the holidays.

A few years back, he was the most passionate fan of Christmas, counting down the days until the big day. However, he suddenly started despising Christmas and viewing Christmas gifts and decorations as meaningless. 

This happened after a traumatic event that led him to believe that he was helpless, and not even Christmas could help his situation.

Last year , Marios lost his father and no one knew why or how.Ever since this mystery,  he is no longer the friend that I knew.

This Christmas, I am planning to give him the most beautiful gift that anyone has given to him in his life. That gift will change his life. At least, I hope he will accept it. 

He can still be happy on Christmas because he has his sibling and his mother with him but the problem is that he misses his dad so much.
