Swimming is lots of fun!

It is important to be safe so that you can have lots of fun in the water during Summer! Knowing how to be safe and having the right gear will give you a chance to have so much fun swimming. 

LEARN How to Swim!

Learning how to swim is very important. If you do not know how to swim then you could get hurt or hurt someone swimming with you. 

The best way to learn to swim is by taking lessons with an adult who can keep you safe. 

It is also important to be brave. Swimming can be scary at first but if you are brave and listen to your teacher swimming can be lots of fun. 

Gear for Swimming

Something else that is important for swimming is to have the right gear. 

First you must have Swimming Suit and Towel.

Then you should have goggles and floaties if you are to small to touch the ground or you are new to swimming. 

It is also helpful to have flippers when you swim because they help you swim faster.

If you are going outside to swim it is very very important to have sunblock to keep your skin protected from the sun. 

Time for Pool Fun!

Once you learn how to swim and be safe and have the right gear you can start to have lots of fun in the pool. 

Be sure to get some fun water toys to play with. 

There are lots of fun pool games like Marco Polo to play in the water. 

And the best part of swimming, as long as you are safe is JUMPING IN!!!
