*People, plants, trees, animals need clean water.

*Living things cannot survive without water.

*We, humans and everything in earth, need water to live on.

*By transporting water, oxygen and nutrients to the cells, it ensures the dissolution of the solids necessary for the cells to perform their functions in a healthy way, so water is important.

Why is water waste important?

*People who can't find water are dying or getting sick all around the world.

*Humans cannot survive more than 2-3 days without water.

*From the smallest living organism to the largest living being, it is water that sustains all biological life and all human activities.

 WHAT SHOULD WE DO     TO PREVENT WATER                   WASTE                        INDIVIDUALLY             AND MASSIVELY?

We should...

-turn off the tap while brushing our teeth 

put a liter of water bottle in the cistern in the toilet.

-use the appropriate apparatus on the taps and recycle the waste water to water our flowers

-stop using so much water

-instead of leaving the water on, wash vegetables and fruits in a bowl. 

We should...

-reduces the shower time 

-collect the running water in a bucket and water the garden with this water

-fix the dripping faucet

-collect the waste oil in a bottle and send it to the wasted oil collection center instead of pouring it into the sink

We should...

-be careful about not leaving the taps on at the public places

-not play water souking games

-warn people about importance of water waste

analyze the water bills periodically and try to reduce the amount of used water.

We should...

-store rainwater at homes, at factories, at schools everywhere and reuse them.

-raise people's awareness about it

-Water your lawn only when it needs it

-Deep-soak your lawn

-Plant drought-resistant trees

-Use a broom to clean driveways, sidewalks and steps

We should...

-Don't run the hose while washing your car. Instead, use a bucket.

-protect our natural water resources

-wash the dishes in our house with a dishwasher, not by hand

-create awareness at your home first then around your environment

-mop the balconies instead of using hose.

-Use your automatic dishwasher for full loads only

-not rinse the dirty items for minutes before putting them in the dishwasher

As we are responsible for saving water resources, we can raise awareness in public. 

The World Water Day is one of the ways to achieve this task.

LET'S CELEBRATE THE WORLD WATER DAY AND RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT HOW TO PREVENT WATER WASTE INDIVIDUALLY AND MASSIVELY.
