Wilson A. Bentley
Wilson was born on February 9th,1865. He was born in Jericho, Vermont. As a teen Wilson began to grow more interested in snow crystals (snowflakes). He once had tried to draw what he saw through a microscope his mom gave him when he was fifteen. He soon attached a bellows camera to his compound microscope.

Achievements
Wilson A. Bentley was said to be the first person on earth to take a picture of a snowflake. Not only was he a meteorologist, he was also photographer. He had children’s book written about him called Snowflake Bentley. He also captured more than 5,000 pictures of snowflakes.

Legacy
Wilson Bentley (Snowflake Bentley) was a meteorologist and a photographer. There’s a museum in Jericho. There’s a field museum in Chicago that has pictures of him and from him.
