To be more confident within yourselves!

There once lived an ordinary hobbit named Bilbo Baggins. He lived in a small hobbit hole. He loved cooking and the thought of his home brought him comfort. Bilbo wasn't necessarily the adventurous type. One day, while Bilbo was sitting down on his porch, a familiar Wizard approached him. As they continued to talk, Bilbo Baggins suddenly realized that this “Familiar“ wizard was Gandalf! Bilbo decided to invite Gandalf in to have some tea the next day to catch up.

The next day, Bilbo began preparing to have Gandalf at his home for a cup of tea. He suddenly heard a loud thump on his door, and he went towards the door expecting it to be Gandalf. However, it was a dwarf? Bilbo did not recognize this dwarf. Bilbo, the kind hobbit that he was, respectfully served him food. Another enormous knock was heard by Bilbo. Surely it would be Gandalf by now? He thought. Well, Bilbo was mistaken, it happened to be another dwarf again! The two dwarves that Bilbo had no memory of were at his table eating his food while he waited for Gandalf to arrive. Bilbo opened the door and there were 11 dwarfs piled up on each other and at the very end of that pile of dwarfs was Gandalf!
It was now closer to dawn, and surprisingly, the dwarves were still singing loudly. Gandalf’s proposal was that He wanted Bilbo to be his burglar with his team that tagged along with him and to start his journey. Bilbo was hesitant at first, a burglar? He wasn't a thief and not the bravest either, so when Gandalf proposed that he should come with him, he obviously doubted himself. Gandalf then told the group that he was the new burglar of the team. Bilbo was still unsure if he should come along, part of him wanted to prove the dwarves wrong. The next day, Bilbo had woke up and looked everywhere in his hobbit-hole, but no dwarves were to be seen. He then found a letter written by Gandalf and the crew to start their mission. Bilbo Glanced at the time and he was nearly about to be late, so he signed the letter and ran as fast as he could.

where has everybody gone!
Bilbo ran, he worried that he would be late. Thankfully, he was not, Bilbo got them to stop and he handed the letter to Gandalf. Gandalf welcomed Bilbo along and didn’t doubt Bilbo, however, some of the other dwarves thought he wouldn’t show up. As they rode their ponies Bilbo realized he brought nothing with him, he started to feel uneasy. Gandalf reassured him that he would have to manage without things like a handkerchief while being on an adventure. As they approached Uninhabited Lone-land Gandalf was nowhere to be seen and the dwarves and Bilbo had noticed and shockingly the pony with the food and supplies were missing too! As Bilbo and the dwarves made an effort to search for the pony and possibly Gandalf they noticed a light of some sort!

The closer the dwarves and Bilbo got towards the light it appeared that it was a bonfire with three trolls that were surrounded by it, they went by; William Bert and Tom. The dwarves insisted that Bilbo should go and try to pickpocket one of the trolls. This was Bilbo's time to show the dwarves that he could be a true burglar and hold that pride. During the time Bilbo was close to getting the knife that the troll had, Of course, the troll had to reach for his handkerchief where also Bilbo happened to be. Bilbo screamed and shouted for help but he did not want to rat out the other dwarves.
The trolls bickered about what to do with Bilbo and were fighting amongst themselves when Balin (one of the dwarves) entered their camp. The trolls captured him and the rest of the dwarves who came looking for Bilbo. The dwarves were in a state of fear, if they were tied up how would they be able to continue their mission. Bilbo decided to stall the trolls and tell them that all the dwarves including himself that were planning to eat had worms and they would be terribly sick if they were to eat them. As Bilbo stalled the dwarves were not quick to realize why Bilbo would say they had worms so they took offence. Thorin, however ( one of the main dwarfs that lead the group) knew what Bilbo was trying to do and gave the group a nudge so they’d listen.

worms!

As Gandalf returned the dwarves and the hobbit had a sigh of relief that he would know exactly what to do. Gandalf tricked the three trolls that were holding the dwarves captive to stay out past dawn. The trolls turned into stone because they cannot bear the sunlight, they were then stoned to death! Bilbo and the dwarves made their way towards the Misty Mountains. They reached the village of Rivendale dale where they were greeted by singing elves, Gandalf suggests that the crew can stay with Elrond for a bit.
