Do You Know all about Red Fox? Let Me tell you its appearance and behavior, also Fun Facts about it!

Chapter 1
introduction
Red Fox is a type of Canidae family that can be found in deserts or mountains, some even live in farms and small cities. Their coat has red, black, and white fur. When not hunting, Red Foxes spend their time curled up under a brush pile, under shrubs, or in a dense thicket.
The sun starts to set in northern Virginia, and a red fox wakes up and stretches, ready to search for dinner. She hunts alone and steps silently through the bushes. In the shadows, she’s almost invisible. Then she stops; she smells something. The red fox suddenly leaps up, over the edge of … an open garbage can. She tears through a plastic bag and snatches some scraps of grilled chicken. As the fox climbs out, the garbage can tips over with a crash. Bang! A dog barks. Backyard lights turn on, but the sly fox has already disappeared through the fence with her meal in her mouth.
Chapter 2
Appearance
Red Foxes are mammals that look like small, bushy-tailed dogs. Their pups are gray or brown at first, they will turn red after one month. Red foxes have long snouts and red fur across the face, back, sides, and tail. Their throat, chin, and belly are grayish-white. Red foxes have black feet and black-tipped ears that are large and pointy. One of the most noticeable characteristics of the red fox is the fluffy white-tipped tail.
Many of them might show up in backyards, but red foxes are wild animals. That’s why you should always keep a good distance from foxes and never feed them. Wildlife biologists advise covering garbage cans and bringing in pets and pet food at night. If humans feed them, red foxes can lose wild ways like their ability to hunt. If they can’t hunt, they can’t survive.
Chapter 3
Behavior
Red Foxes lives in the den. However they don't generally use a den, unless their thick fur coat and warm, bushy tail, which they use as a blanket, aren't keeping them warm enough in frigid winter weather. Red Foxes will eat almost anything they can find. They like to eat birds, including chickens, and small mammals such as gophers and rabbits, also they are omnivore.
Red Fox hunts solo, both red fox parents take care of their pups, or kits. Parents take turns hunting for food and bringing it back to hungry kits waiting at home. In the wild, red fox homes—called dens—are usually on the edges of forests, near fields where hunting would be good. In the city, dens are often located under porches, where access to rodents is easy.
Chapter 4
Fun Facts
Red foxes would be great triathletes. Their tail is over half its body length. Red foxes’ forepaws have five toes, while their hind feet only have four! Females are called vixens. Red foxes have a supersonic hearing! Well, almost. Largely, red foxes are choosing one mate to be with for their whole life. When afraid, red foxes grin. They don’t make good pets.
