On a warm and sunny day, a little girl named Ruby was at the park. She had her special ruby gem with her. She loved it because her grandmother gave it to her for her fifth birthday.

Ruby was so excited to be at the park on a warm day, after the cold winter ended, with her gem.

Ruby climbed up the slide and slid down. But when she was at the end of the slide, her gem fell out of her hand and bounced away.

"Oh no," Ruby screamed, "my gem!"
