Once upon a time, there was a 

nitrogen molecule named Nancy. 

She was a lonely little molecule 

even though there was so many 

other molecules in sky. Little did 

she know she was on the way to 

a adventure she will not forget.

One day it started to pour down 

raining. Nancy knew this was the 

day she would leave the 

atmosphere. So she attached to 

Willie the water droplet. Willie 

and Nancy became friends and 

through the journey they became 

the best of friends.

When things started to get good 

for Nancy she found out that 

Willie had to run-off. Nancy went 

back into a deep depression then 

Becky the bacteria came to greet 

her. Becky the bacteria had to tell 

her that she had to go through a 

process called fixation. This 

changed her into an ammonium. 

Nancy thought that she was 

ready to be absorbed by a plant. 

But she did not know that she 

must go through another 

process called nitrification so 

she could become a nitrate so 

she could be absorbed by plants.
