Some kids from a school went on a field trip to a history museum, then the guide starts telling them about the day it all started. 

A long time ago in the Andes there were people who worshiped the sky, the earth, the water and every element of nature that provided them with something.

In that society there was much prosperity and natural wealth. Nature protected them and in return they performed rituals and celebrations in its honor.

However, one stormy day strangers arrived and took everything they had. From that moment on, the Incas disappeared and an era of terror began. The foreigners began to change the culture of the Incas and soon the majority of the population was mestizo.

Only a few people still maintained the customs of the Incas and even fewer still cared for nature. A new era had begun in Ecuador.
