Growing up we look to the sky. We look up at day and we look at night. what is it that we see. what makes us want to look up an stare in aw of what is there.
Looking up we see the Sun, stars and the moon, that is what we can see. Though there is more, there are planets, and other solar systems that we explore and are yet to name.

We watch as the sun moves and the nights sky changes. To see that the moon changes and to try and connect the stars to what they are. We watch all this with wonder of why and what els there is just out of sight of our eyes.

The moon has many phases, that goes from a new moon to a full moon. There are crescent moons and quarter moons. It has the phase order of New Moon, First Quarter, Full Moon, and Last Quarter. As well as the crescent moons we see in between the full moon and the quarter moons. Though a new moon we don't even get to see as it has no light to see, as it has no light reflecting from the sun.

The moon phases as it is floating in our gravitational pull it reflects the suns light and as the days pas so does the phase we see. Then we see planets, but do they have moons. We have eight plants in our solar system so how many planets do we have?

Lets see, the planet that have a moon are Mercury and Venus, Earth and Pluto, which have one each. Though Mars has 2, Neptune has 8, Uranus has 15, Jupiter has16, and Saturn 19. Counting the moons our solar system has 64 moons in all, but there are many more just out side, how many more we learn about more and more.

The way we know all this is because we send all types of thing into space. Like people and drones to help us explore the stares. We have bee doing this for a long time. We even got to walk on the moon. Do you know who walked on the moon?

Our first trip in the star was the Apollo mission 11. This was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. The first steps on the moon was by two men named Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on July 20, 1969.
