It is because with social media, people no longer need to meet each other directly to communicate, so this will shape people's lifestyles that are increasingly closed. This assumption is actually wrong. Social media can easily interact with anyone, both the people around and the people far away. Everyone can meet and get acquainted with new people, especially when joining a community. Besides that, it can search for communities related to hobbies, work, or interesting things. By exchanging ideas, social media can help people make new friends and learn new things. Next, according to Cahyono (2017), everyone can easily interact with anyone, including artists' favorites too by using social media. Therefore, social media can make interacting with many people easier.

    The second reason is that social media can be a medium of entertainment. It has been argued that social media makes a person vulnerable to the bad influence of others. However, that thought is actually wrong. Not all entertainment on social media is bad. So choose content that is wise and can motivate. Next, according to Listiyono (2013), social media is very helpful when someone is feeling tired because social media can provide various kinds of interesting and entertaining content. For example, the content on YouTube presents many videos ranging from songs, someone's vlog videos, information videos, video games, video tips and tricks, and other videos that will be very entertaining. Therefore, social media is very useful for entertaining society.
