Sophia Tersely was as glamorous as
they come.
She ruled her third-grade
class and had just won her school
art competition with her self-portrait
painting.

She spent her free-time styling her favorite outfits and reading her favorite book series called "How to be the Best at Everything".
Her teachers, friends, and family all adored her and it seemed as if things couldn't get any better.
....... Or so she thought.

She was curled up in bed about to fall asleep with her favorite teddy when her mom and dad walked into her room.
"We're moving sweetie," she heard her mom say.
"Your mom has a job offer in Great Britain, and she is going to take it," her dad explained.
She heard them saying other things too, but wasn't listening.

Great Britain ?!? How is Sophie going to move to a whole new place, where she knew NO ONE.
Most importantly, where no one knew her.
All of this just felt like one bad dream that she couldn't wake up from.

Who was going to take her place as queen-bee of her homeroom class?
Would she be able to make new friends in a new place?
She absolutely hated the idea.. she knew that nothing could possibly be worse than this.

Sophie could have sworn that the month before they moved was the shortest one of her life.
.... like ever.
Before she knew it they were on a plane headed to Great Britain. Where even is that anyway?
She was angry at her parents, but most of all, Sophie was scared.
