At 12AM 23,400 paratroopers land at Normandy.
At 1AM Allies fake an invasion.
At 3AM Allied aircrafts bomb germans.
At 5AM naval bombardment starts.
At 6AM the Allies start a full scale invasion on Normandy.
In total D-Day lasted for nearly 3 months.

The Allied won and that was a major turning point in WW2 for the Allied.

Winning D-Day caused the tides to change in WW2 allowing the Allied to beat Germany and ultimately win WW2.
