PAGE 1: STYLES

IN SKATEBOARDING THERE IS 3 DIFERENT STYLES: STREET, VERT, AND PARK.

STREET SKATING IS SKATING OBSTACLES LIKE RAILS, LEDGES, AND STAIRS.

VERT SKATING IS SKATING RAMPS WITH TRANSITION THAT GETS VERTICAL.

PARK SKATING IS A LITTLE OF BOTH, YOU SKATE TRANSITION OBSTACLES BUT DO StREET TRICKS ON THEM. 

PAGE 2: WHERE 2 SHOP

With skateboarding it is important you know were 2 shop, with

stores like walmart or target they will have boards for $10-$20. DO NOT LET THE PRICE FOOL YOU. If you want a good quality board go 2 your local sk8 shop, you will find complete setup's for $70-$100.

The price is worth it.

PAGE 3: PART'S

With a skateboard there is 6 parts: the deck, the grip, the trucks, the wheels, the bearings, and the hardware. The deck is the main part, the wood board with concave and 2 kicks at the end. There are 4 wheels but they wont work without the bearings. There are 8 bearings 2 for each wheel. There are 2 trucks, the trucks keep the board and the wheels. You use them to grind ledges and rails.

The grip is the rough stuff that's on the top of the deck it helps you grip 2 the board.
