Do you ever wonder why teens do more risky things than adults? Well me and my friend Charlie here are going to help explain why this is.

In every teen no matter the culture or species, teens like to take more risks than adults. If you take a handful of adults and a handful of teens and you ask them the same questions that involve taking a risk you will find that the majority of the teens would take the risk and the adults would be hesitant.

The brain doesn't fully develop like you think, some think their brains fully develop at the age of 18, but studies show that's not entirely true. The brain isn't fully developed until you're at least the age of 25. This is why in your adult years, some people will have teenage tendencies

As a teen when you are put in a situation where there is a risk a chemical gets released and a good amount of dopamine is released from your brain that makes you wanna do all the risky things.

As a teen you don't really think about things before you do them. So even tho you know the risks and what could happen you still do it, and at a ripe early age of just 16, teens can get the death penalty if they commit a really bad crime. Don't be that teen!!!

Also around that age is when we are more likely to be around and involved with violence. Teens are also more likely to get into fatal car accidents than other age groups, teens take a lot more risks while driving especially if there are other teens around. They tend to show off more than adults which leads them to do the things they do and end in an accident.
