Tony was a small tiger and was only four feet tall. Tony would always get made fun of for his height and didn’t have many friends that would stand up for him because he never stayed at a school long enough to make good friends. Tony was always lonely during the school day, all he wanted to do was have fun and play with other students. Tony grew up in foster care and jumped around from different schools and families.
Tony had a problem where he thought all of his new classmates were making fun of him for his height and his at-home life. Tony just wanted one person to accept him for who he was even though he was much shorter than the rest of the students and couldn't seem to make any friends.
Tony found out he was going to have a new classmate at his new school. Her name was Lena and she was a llama. Tony wanted to be her friend but Lena was very outgoing. She loved to be friends with all people. Tony thought she was really nice because she was always laughing and making others laugh around her. Tony knew she was going to be a good friend the way she treated the other students, Tony wanted her to be his friend too.
Tony had a hard time making new friends because he thought his height was going to be a problem and he never knew how long he would be at the school because he moved so much and got with new families so often.
Tony was so scared to approach Lean because she had already made so many friends he thought she wouldn't want anymore but Tony was determined to be friends with Lena and talk to her. Tony was going to go up to Lean during the lunch period to talk with her but something terrible happened to Tony and he spilled his lunch all over the floor while he was walking because there was something left on the lunchroom floor and it was slippery where he had been walking. Tony was so embarrassed he ran out of the cafeteria and into the office to go home because he was a mess with the food all over him. Tony wasn’t feeling well the rest of the day because he knew Lena saw him and he made a fool ofhimself and was scared to go to the school the next day for the whole class to make fun of him.
Although Tony had to go to school the next day and the first person who saw him was Lena. She ran over to Tony to comfort him and told him that she saw what happened and was sorry and she asked him to have lunch with her that day. Tony was so happy someone accepted him just the way he was and didn't care about his height or where he comes from. Lena was kind to her classmates and you should be too.
They became very good friends up until Tony had to move away to another family, Lena was so sad to see him leave because they had such a good friendship. To Tony, this was all normal although he just wanted to stay at one school and have Lena be his friend forever. Lena was very sad to see him go and told her parents about Tony and how she wished he could have stayed.
Tony went to a new school for a few months and found out he had to move again and he ended up at Lena’s parent’s house. Tony was so excited that he would be able to be friends with her again. Tony lived with Lena’s parents for about one year and that is the longest he has ever been with a foster family. Lena’s parents adopted Tony and Lena and Tony were now siblings and best friends forever.
