Deniz and Dennis are students at the same college.

It’s Monday and Deniz is sitting on his own at the school cafeteria but very sad and thoughtful.

While he’s murmuring himself’’I wish....’’,Dennis ,his best friend comes and greets him:

DENNIS—Hi ,Deniz .How are you? You seem so sadL

                  Is there anything wrong with you?

DENIZ—Hello,Dennis.Yes,that ‘s right .I’m not O.K.

               Today was the deadline for my Science Project and I totally      forgot about it.

DENNIS—Oh...Bad news!

DENIZ—Exactly..And the teacher Mrs.Tatcher got really angry with meL

DENNIS—I see..She is usually angry and this made her crazy .Right?

DENIZ—Unfortunately..

DENNIS—You can tell the reason .Maybe she can give extra time for you.

DENIZ—Do you think that I didn’t try??

      She did not  listen to me.

DENNIS—  Ohh ,Got it.

                Well, What was the project about then?

DENIZ—It was about Thomas Edison.

DENNIS—Waoov ! It sounds interesting.He is my favourite scientist.

DENIZ—Yes,he found the electiricity.

DENNIS—No,he wasn’t ,Denız.You ‘re wrong.

Actually he didn’t do that ,Nikola Tesla did it!!

DENIZ—Really ?But everybody knows...

DENNIS—Edison was the boss of the factory and Tesla was his employee.Tesla found it for $50.000 but Edison didn’t pay .

DENIZ—  Opps! What’s that in my bag?

             Oh my God,Here is the project!!

(But it s too late, Deniz gets angry, creases and throws the paper on the floor.But Dennis warns him.)

DENNIS-Hey ,What are you doing?you mustn’t do that!

Throw the paper in the recyling bin,Deniz.

DENIZ—You’ re right,Dennıs.

Dennis: Deniz, you know, the deadline is the deadline, but it doesn’t  mean the DEATHLINE. How about if you do another project and show it to Mrs. Tatcher? I will help you.

Deniz: No way. Firstly, I won’t manage. Secondly, I have no idea what to do. Thirdly, she won’t accept it.

Dennis: Wow, your maths is great…….!!!!! But…. Firstly, I will help you. Secondly, the project will be about RECYCLING. Thirdly, Mrs. Thatcher is very nice. She will understand …So, Mr. Mathsgenius? (Dennis was very proud of the idea and looked down at  Deniz)

Deniz: Er…I don’t know……I doubt…..I have already tried…….

Dennis: (a little bit angry) Gosh…if you don’t try, you will regret it. She is crazy about ecology. Come on. Let’s do it. I will drop by about 6 p.m.
