"Okay, Little Elsa, we're home alone for exactly three hours. That means three vast hours of playing and doing things we aren't supposed to," Elsa told her sister.

"Okay," Little Elsa said, her voice tight with excitement. "What should we do first?"
"Something our parents HATE," Elsa mused. "Maybe...oh! Jumping on their bed!"
Little Elsa gasped, grinning. "YES! It's perfect."

They ran to their parent's room and climbed onto the bed.
The sisters began to jump crazily.
"THIS IS SO FUN!" Little Elsa said. "ESPECIALLY BECAUSE WE'RE HOME ALONE!"
Elsa laughed.

"Okay, okay. Do you want to do something fun?" Elsa asked.
"Okay!" Little Elsa cried.
"So. Grab my hands," Elsa instructed. Little Elsa did as she was told. "Now grip them hard." Little Elsa squeezed her hands. "Interlock our fingers, so we're secure." Little Elsa followed her sister's final command.

"Okay. Now we jump!"
They had to jump perfectly in sync, otherwise they wouldn't jump very high.

Suddenly, mid-jump, the girls' feet began to drift off the ground. They were floating!
Elsa's eyes were round and scared. Little Elsa's lips were formed in a scream but no sound came out.

"We're going to hit the ceiling," gasped Elsa as they floated higher and higher.
But before the girls could hit the ceiling, a round hole appeared in the ceiling, just big enough for the girls to squeeze through.
But now they were outside, and there wasn't a ceiling to stop them from drifting away.

"Elsa, what should we do?" Little Elsa asked, her voice fearful.
"This is obviously a quest," Elsa said. "This is meant to happen."

Little Elsa wasn't reassured. "But Elsa, what if we drift away?"
"We were chosen for the quest. The voices wouldn't let that happen," Elsa reasoned. Under her breath, she added, "Hopefully..."

"So what can we do to stop it?" Little Elsa asked, her voice shaking.
Elsa thought for a moment. Then she replied, "We can use our ice magic!"

"Oh, yeah!" Little Elsa cried. "But wait-how are we supposed to use our ice magic AND stay holding hands so we don't drift away from each other?"
"Hmmm," Elsa said. "Oh! We could just let go of one hand."
After doing so, the girls aimed their hands up.
"Why up?" Little Elsa had asked.
"So we get propelled down," Elsa had replied.

"On three," Elsa said. "One...two...THREE!"
Ice and snow flew from the girls' hands and propelled them downward.
"We're doing it!" Little Elsa exclaimed happily.

But just then, the sky and the clouds turned slowly yellow.
"What is happening?" Little Elsa said, her voice squeaky and afraid.
"I learned about this in science," Elsa said. Her voice was quiet but still held fear. "If the sky turns yellow, a storm is on its way. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens sometimes..."

Thunderclouds filled the sky. Lightning burst from the clouds and struck the air. Thunder came soon after and rattled the girls.
Little Elsa squeezed Elsa's hands tighter.

Huge amounts of lightning struck the sky, and some were very close to the girls. Thunder rumbled and shook the girls.
Little Elsa started to cry. "I don't like this quest!"

Then lightning struck dangerously close to the girls.
Little Elsa shrieked and started crying harder than ever.

"Little Elsa, don't cry," Elsa's voice was sharp. "I'm scared too, but if we're going to complete this quest we have to be strong."
Little Elsa wiped her nose with her sleeve.
