Hello! My name is Olivia and I want to tell you about the time I had to go to the hospital, so maybe when you go, It won't be scary.

One day, I was riding my bike when I fell off. I hurt my leg so my mom called 911 on her phone.

Some friendly people, called Paramedics, came and put me on a rolling bed and into the back of an ambulance. The Ambulance had loud sirens so cars would get out of our way to let us pass.

When we got to the hospital, we met a nice person, called a nurse, who asked me lots of questions and put a cuff on my arm, to give it a little hug and a soft clip on my hand.

Then I went to a big room that had a special camera called an X-ray. The special camera can see your bones and it doesn't even hurt. The people in the room took pictures of my leg to see why it was hurting.

After that, I went back to my room. Then another person, called a doctor, came in. She said that I had broken my leg and that I would need to go to sleep while they fixed it. She said it wouldn't hurt at all. 

Then the Nurse came back and put some cold cream on my hand. It numbed my hand so the needle wouldn't hurt.

My mommy got to stay with me while we waited. Then some more nurses came to take me down to the operating room.

They rolled me down a long hallway and into a big room that was full of machines and big lights. Doctors and nurses wore funny pajamas and masks on their faces.

Then a special doctor told me to breathe into a mask that would make me sleep for a bit.
