Oh hello there. This is Sudan,
a country in north Africa.

Sudan is far from peaceful. The Arabic(North) and Sub-Saharan
(South)people do not get along very well.The Arabic people
have taken ethnic cleansing to be an expertise to show their
beliefs of the non-Islamic peoples.

The South wanted an
an independent state.
They feared the north
would make them a part of the
North's political regime.

Britain and Egypt both made Sudan and South Sudan separate states.
This added tension to what would lead to war.
The South relied on the North to create a Federal
government to sustain them.
The North started to back down on their commitment,
throwing the south into disarray.

After all said and done a peace agreement

was signed on January 2005, which granted

the South a stable government, eventual

independence, the combining of both

military, the money made from oil was

split with both sides, and the South

decided their law.

Sudan has a population of 37.1 million people.
This number can spike up or down, depending
on the situation.

The land of Sudan is mostly desert,
but there is some grassland and rain in the south.
If you're looking for a water filled landscape,
Sudan is not the place to go.
