                                                    Just a Regular Day

        In the city of Calabria, Italy there lived a girl 

named Gia Gorga. She’s fourteen and has a little 

brother named Gino and a older brother named 

Bruno. Gia goes to Ridgeway High School. She is a 

freshman and has a best friend named Bud. Gia’s 

parents are divorced and she lives with her mom, 

Celimarie and her brothers. Her mom is Puerto 

Rican and her dad is Italian. One day Bud asked Gia 

if she can come over for a hangout. Gia wanted to 

ask her mom first so she went home. Celimarie said 

“yes”. Gia just couldn’t wait.

          A Sudden Discovery

The next day Gia went to Bud’s house. When they 

went to Bud’s room Gia told him everything that 

has been happening. She told Bud that every time 

there’s full moon she gets this sudden urge to drink 

blood.   Also that her hair turns from blonde to 

purple and blue. Gia told him that her turquoise 

eyes turn orange and red. At first Bud didn’t believe 

her and took it as a joke. Then he saw everything 

that Gia told her coming true. When Kelly looked 

outside he saw it was a full moon. They searched 

online and when it came to the final answer Gia 

found out that she is a vampire. 

                 What a Strange World

        Gia told her mom everything when she got 

home. Celimarie didn’t believe her. On Saturday at 

2:35 Gia called Bud. She told him to call a taxi and 

to meet her outside in front of the park. Bud did but 

he didn’t know why. When they got in the cab Gia 

told him that they were going to a psychic. They 

entered the psychic’s room the psychic asked for 

her hand and clarified that she was a vampire also 

that she posses the power of fire. Then the psychic 

teleported Gia to another world. When Gia got there 

was a girl waiting for her. The girl’s name was 

Desyre and she introduced herself.   Desyre said 

“This is where you’ll be staying after you tell your 

mom.”   Gia replied ‘Okay.’ 

                          Surprisingly My Sidekick

        Gia and Desyre started discussing her powers. Then 

they went into the topic of how every hero needs a sidekick. 

Desyre told Gia who was going to be her sidekick. She 

thought it would be Bud but it was the unthinkable. Gia’s 

sidekick was Bruno!!!!! Gia couldn’t believe it. Out of all the 

people it was her older brother. Gia was happy and bummed. 

Now she can boss him around and make him her personal 

slave. On their way back Bud was telling Gia about how the 

sidekick told her that Gia only has six days to defeat a 

Cyclops guy named Luis. “The problem is that the monster is 

in Sicilia”. Bud said. Gia replied in Italian “How am I 

supposed to make it to Sicilia in six days when we live in 

another region?” Bud said “hey at least you both live in Italy” 

Gia looked at her with a dead serious looking face. “to soon.” 

Bud said. Gia replied “yeah”. 

                                                   Bruno I Need Help

           When Gia got home it was ten minutes for it 

to be 3:00 in the morning. So she stormed up into 

Bruno’s room. When she saw Bruno in his room 

wide awake she told him everything that happened. 

He burst out laughing. Gia went up to Bruno and bit 

him in the neck so he can take her seriously. At 

first he felt kind of light headed and he saw 

everything hazy. Then when he saw everything 

normal again they got down to business. After a full 

two hours of explaining everything to him the both 

of them went to bed. The next morning Bruno said 

he was excited to go to the place where Gia went. 

Then they both went to the psychic and went to the 

strange world.
