Analogous colors are colors that are next to each other on the color wheel.
An example of analogus
colors are yellow,
yellow-orange, and
orange.

Is for background.
Backgrounds are important in works of art because they create context. It can give you insight into what the piece is about. The world around the subjects are just as important.
C Is for Complimentary colors. Complementary colors are the opposite hues on the color wheel. In their most basic form, they are one primary color and the secondary color created by mixing the other two primary colors.
For example, blue and orange are directly across from each other, complementing each other more.

D is for drawing

This tool is necessary to complete ceramics pieces so that they are useable.

A drawing created using a human model or living moving thing.

M Is for medium
The material used by an artist such as paint, pencil, paper

negative space is the space around and between the subject of the image

oil mixed with paint to create rich color and allow better details.

A form of ceramic art where clay is shaped, dried, glazed, and fired in a kiln.
