Once there lived a little girl named 

Lucy. Lucy grew up on an island with 

her little village named Dreams. 

She loved to spend time down by the 

ocean watching the dolphins.

Her town mayor, Dexter, was liked by 

everyone in the city of Dreams. He just had 

one rule. The rule was no one stays by the 

ocean passed dark.

However, there was one thing that kept Lucy 

up late at night. Her dolphin, Daffy. Lucy 

couldn't tell anyone she had a pet dolphin or 

she would be kicked out of her city forever. 

She   would spend as much time with her 

dolphin as she possibly could without getting 

caught.

One day Lucy lost track of time and knew she 

would have the town worried. She had to tell 

the town about Daffy. She didn't know what to 

expect. She went back home and first told her 

parents about her pet. They were very upset 

with her and she was forced to tell the mayor 

about it.

Lucy was very upset. She begged the mayor to 

not take Daffy away. The mayor was also very 

upset, but if she promised not to go out past 

dark he would not take the dolphin. She was 

very grateful!

In the end Lucy and Daffy were very happy. 

Lucy took the little kids to visit Daffy all the 

time. Daffy loved the attention. They all lived 

happily ever after.
